Recovery is checkpointing database 'databsesename'

Hello!
What does this mean, when starting database server?
Recovery is checkpointing database 'databasename'
We had to restart database server becouse one table stoped responding.
THi
Shortly ( for details please refer to the BOL) during recovering a
checkpoint is occured to check what transactions (uncommited) to be written
to disk or to be rollbacked
. It 'helps' database to be consistent.
