Record Locks

I am running into a problem where records are being locked out when I try to modify a record in SQL Server from Access. When I go into the "Locks by Process ID" and "Locks by Object" I do not see any locks for that table anywhere!?!? Is there another area in SQL Server where Locks can be managed?Try "sp_lock" to see what's going on.
